Tick Throw
Tick Throw

Technical Definition-Throwing an opponent as soon as they are out of blockstun, usually with a command grab. Because a character can not be thrown while they are in blockstun, tick throws must be carefully timed if using a grab raw. If the grab is being cancelled into, the startup frames of the grab must be more than the cancel advantage of the previous move. Either way there will always a gap for the defender to escape.

In Other Words-Similar to the "defenseless receiver" rule in football where a prospective receiver can not be tackled (thrown) until he has caught the ball and is able to move (out of stun).
